Description |
An interesting Prehnite with a smooth texture and toothpaste-like color, sitting on a contrasting basalt matrix peppered with micro Chlorite crystals. The specimen features a cluster of intersecting spheres with another isolated crystal group of two intersecting balls. This is from one of the more recent finds at this famous, overgrown quarry. Acquired from Eric Stanchich in 2014. Hershel Friedman collection and photo. This specimen was exhibit in Hershel's public Prehnite exhibit at the 2015 NY/NJ Gemshow in Edison, New Jersey. |
