Gray octahedral Galena crystals in parallel orientation. (The surfaces of the Galena crystals have a thin coating of greenish secondary alteration, probably Anglesite. The parallel faces reflect light simultaneously making it very showy. Ex. Chas. W. Velte Jr. (1914-1987) collection #33. |
