Blue Halite

John Betts - Fine Minerals |
Description |
Beautiful specimen of Halite with color varying from intense
blue to nearly colorless. The color is due to atomic lattice defects,
not due to inclusions or impurities. The surface looks melted because it
was washed in water (water soluble). |
