Description |
This is a rare specimen of botryoidal Willemite from Santa Eulalia - and not only that, it is a really big and rich one. The lustrous Willemite itself is colorless, and it glistens like a good smithsonite - the color comes from inclusions of limonite, which serves as the matrix and formed as a crust over something else, giving the specimen a concave form. Found in the 1960s. Ed Gary Hansen collection material. |
