Red, Iron-Rich Variscite Vug
|
Collection |
Robert Lavinsky |
Description |
A very rare and rich cabinet specimen of a vug filled with superb sparkly and gemmy, tiny dark wine-red ferrian Variscite crystals from the Iron Monarch Quarry of South Australia. Extremely hard to come by and this is a rich specimen, not to mention just plain pretty. Variscite as a species rarely crystallizes and this is one of the prettiest of the few such occurrences. |
