Millerite Vein in Chalcopyrite
|
Collection |
Robert Lavinsky |
Description |
One usually thinks of Millerite in its rare crystalline (acicular) form, as that is the form it takes in most collector specimens. But here, it appears as a silvery vein running through a chunk of gaudy golden and purple Chalcopyrite. Ex. Dr. Gunter Grundmann Collection. |
