Lustrous rosettes of tan, saddle-shaped Dolomite crystals are beautifully scattered on the sparkling specular Hematite matrix on this excellent cabinet combination specimen from the well-known Beckermet Mine of Cumbria. Reverse the very thin crust and you see scalloped, brick-red hematite. A very uncommon and classic combination specimen from this noted locale. Ex. Wes Parker Collection. |
