Description |
The camera could not capture the incredibly rich blue-green color of this dioptase specimen. In reality, it is a deeper and richer shade of what you see in the picture, with a hint of blue to it that is unusual, and really quite dazzling. This Chilean Dioptase is of course far different from the Dioptase specimens we are all familiar with from Tsumeb, Kazakhstan, and Zaire – it is a beautiful, velvety druse that covers the botryoidal surface of the matrix. |
