A very rich, old-time ore specimen of lustrous, red to oxidized ruby silver, Pyrargyrite, in Quartz matrix from the very famous Comstock Lode of Nevada. Ex Richard Hauck Collection. This is a neat old locality piece from the 1800s silver rush. Few such (admittedly ugly but historic) specimens come to light anymore. |
