From Rob Lavinsky: This is the largest Arizona Linarite crystal I have seen in a long time, and one of the largest at all from this locality. It has stunning color with deep blue saturation. The crystal is contacted and/or slightly damaged atop, but displays impactfully and you just tilt it back a little to hide that small roughness. This specimen came from well known field collectors Dick Morris and Mark Hay, so I trust the provenance - otherwise I would not have thought such a robust crystal could be from the Mammoth Mine. |
