Translucent, light pink Gmelinite crystals to 9 mm on translucent colorless Calcite crystals to 3 mm on greenish basalt. The surfaces of the Gmelinite crystals are composed of many smaller lustrous parallel
crystal faces, and is a pseudomorph after Chabazite, preserving the original rhombohedral habit. Ex. Albert J. Béres collection #1260. |
